Amman, November 2015 - Emphasizing its standing as a leading company in IT security solutions, OFFTEC - a subsidiary of OFFTEC Holding Group (OHG) – and its platinum partner, Fortinet, co-hosted the Fortinet Security Seminar on Tuesday 24 November, 2015. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel Amman, the Seminar aimed at demonstrating Fortinet’s latest technologies to nearly 50 attendees representing all sectors.

As part of the Seminar, OFFTEC showcased two of Fortinet’s enterprise solutions: Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and Internal Network Firewall (INFW). The ATP was designed to provide organizations with innovative protection against targeted attacks, advanced persistent threats and multi-stage malware. The solution works on preventing and detecting known and unknown threats, as well as mitigating potential incidents using several security technologies and products to combat attacks from the network’s core to the end user’s device. Alternately, the INFW was built to protect the enterprise network from the inside out, especially in light of ever-changing and highly-sophisticated attacks. It is a new type of internal firewall used to help address the persistent dangers to organizations’ networks from threats within, in addition to protecting their critical data.
