Amman, March 2018 – OFFTEC – a subsidiary of OFFTEC Holding Group (OHG) – recently provided the U.S. Embassy in Jordan with innovative mobile shelving storage solutions, designed to be efficient and functional, in order to increase their existing storage capacity, while saving and utilizing floor space, in addition to improving the effectiveness of storing and retrieving large quantities of items.

Replacing the Embassy’s conventional fixed shelving storage units, the mobile shelving storage solutions provided by OFFTEC offered 50% more storage, delivering a higher capacity using equal floor space to the previously fixed shelving units. This is a result of the innovative and flexible structure of the mobile shelves, that are closely packed units, able to be readily moved to open up an aisle in order to allow access, eliminating the need for permanently fixed open aisles between each unit. Unlike the more standard document storage solutions, used to store files and documents, the mobile shelves, installed in three storage rooms at the Embassy, are used for storing spare parts, office supplies and new personnel items. Designed in accordance with the highest European standards, these storage solutions are of high quality, are easy to use, and help in reducing unused storage space and increasing the speed of item retrieval.
